Commercial Landscape Specialist

Central Florida, full-service landscape maintenance. Quality, trouble-free landscape services.

About Us

Since emerging onto the Central Florida scene nearly two decades ago, Daybreak Landscape has enjoyed balanced and controlled growth.

This growth is a direct reflection of the value we offer to our clients, our personalized service, uncompromising standards, adherence to recognized horticultural practices and attention to detail. And, because we are locally owned and operated we can easily and inexpensively tailor all of our services to meet your specific needs and budget goals. Commercial landscape maintenance doesn’t have to be expensive to be good! We prove that every day.

We achieve superior results by taking pride in our clients’ property— we look good when you look good! Whether landscaping or maintaining your property, Daybreak thoughtfully prepares for the job at hand.

  • Daybreak Landscape was built from the ground up…fitting for a landscape company. Starting with one maintenance account, one truck and two mowers, Robert Lyles and Larry Plante set out in the winter of 2000 to grow a commercial landscape business in a sea of businesses.

In those early days, the two Orlando natives and Bishop Moore High School graduates had little direct landscape industry knowledge. However, business experience and personal background proved to be more valuable than possessing a green thumb.

During their formative years, Robert and Larry each worked with their fathers at family-owned businesses. The business fundamentals and work ethic learned during this time would prove to be invaluable as the would-be entrepreneurs stepped out on their own to create a full-service, customer-focused landscaping company.

The early years in the business were daunting and the days and weeks were long. But Robert and Larry had grown up watching their fathers work hard and they knew building a successful business would take hard work and a dedication to excellence.

“Cutting grass is easy,” they both agree. “Providing a better service than the client expects year after year is how we endeavor to differentiate ourselves from others in our industry,” they explain.

Now, some 20 years later and 100 commercial accounts and growing, Daybreak Landscape is still run day-to-day by Robert. That’s just the way he wants it!

“ Daybreak Landscape is committed to providing our clients with the highest quality landscape and maintenance services that are consistent with standard horticultural practices-including proactive and affordable lawnscaping, irrigation installation and maintenance, fertilization, pest control, removal and replacement of landscape materials, as well as timely communication with the property manager.”

Our Business Philosophy

We take nothing for granted.  We appreciate each and every business partner.  We take care of your property as if it were our own.  And, you can always count on us to be here for you…365 days a year.

Robert Lyles, owner and operations manager for Daybreak Landscape shares the company’s business mantra:   “Always keep your promise.  Always deliver more than the customer expects.  And, always tell the truth.”

“That’s how we run our business.  And, that’s what sets us apart from many other landscape companies,” says Lyles.  “Let’s face it, anyone can cut grass and blow and bag leaves…that’s the easy part of this business,” Lyles explains.  “But, completing a project to the customer’s complete satisfaction week in and week out; however, seems to be an area where many in this business fall short,” he adds.

“Our business partners [customers] are not just another ‘stop on a route.’  The properties we maintain are a source of pride for our employees.  We truly enjoy what we do and we feel good when you look good.”

Our Services

Daybreak Landscape employs a three-pronged, strategic approach to help ensure your property is maintained to the standards you desire. Step one begins with providing quality turf, tree and shrub maintenance. Step two features a scheduled pest and fertilization program designed to enhance the overall appearance of existing vegetation, as well as to minimize and control harmful insects and diseases. Step three involves conducting continual irrigation monitoring of the grounds.

Because we are locally owned and operated, Daybreak can easily and inexpensively tailor all our services to meet the specific needs, goals and pricing points of each of our clients. Commercial landscape maintenance doesn’t have to be expensive to be good!

The highest quality of commercial properties are achieved by carefully scheduling the wide variety of necessary tasks for the appropriate time of year.

  • Whether you have Zoysia, Bahia, St. Augustine or Bermuda turf grass, Daybreak technicians are equipped with the proper tools to get the job done correctly. And, most of our mowers are equipped with mulch kits which aids in the turf decomposition process by returning much needed nutrients back into the soil where it can be reused by the turf and surrounding plants.

Removal of trash and debris. Edging, string and shear trimming, mechanical blowing of all hardscapes and bagging and removing leaves.

  • Liquid and/or granular applications on turf, plant beds, shrubs, flowering plants and trees (including deep-root as requested) from four to six times per year. Weekly monitoring to identify potential problem areas is standard practice.
